Víctor F. Climent holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Valencia and specializes in applied research and advanced statistical methods. He has taught courses at the University of Valencia and the University of Alicante in areas such as Sociology of Law, Labor Relations, Consumer Sociology, and Research Methods.

He is currently involved in teaching and content development for the Employment and Entrepreneurship Observatory at the University of Alicante and has participated in several regional and European research projects, including Erasmus+ initiatives and territorial employment diagnostics.

Holds a PhD in Sociology and Anthropology from the Complutense University of Madrid, with a dissertation entitled “Society and time. (Alter)modern temporal intensities”, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Alicante. He also completed the Master’s programme in Dynamics of Change in Advanced Modern Societies at the Public University of Navarre. He is currently an Assistant Lecturer (Profesor Ayudante Doctor) in the Department of Sociology I at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Alicante and a member of several research groups, including AEDIFICATIO, the Sociological Research Group of the University of Alicante (GIS-UA), the Sociological Observatory of Education (OBSOEDU) and the Contemporary Sociocultural Studies Group (GRESCO) at the Complutense University of Madrid.

His main line of research explores the relationship between society and time within the field of the sociology of time, which he connects with studies on health, education, lifestyles, time use, digitalisation and citizen participation. He has taken part in research projects on urban planning, health, tourism, migration, gender, education and social media, and has authored and co-authored books, articles, book chapters and conference papers in national and international venues. He collaborates with different editorial and academic bodies, including the editorial team of the Revista de Sociología de la Educación (RASE) and advisory or governing boards of sociological associations and doctoral programmes.

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, awarded with the Special Prize for Academic Achievement (2002–2006), and a PhD in Sociology with International Mention from the University of Alicante (UA). She is currently a Tenure-Track Lecturer in the Department of Sociology I at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Alicante and director of the Sociological Research Group of the University of Alicante (GISUA).

Her teaching and research focus on family, education, gender, migration and social innovation, areas in which she has published articles and book chapters in national and international outlets. She has undertaken research stays at the Gino Germani Institute (Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Buenos Aires) and at the Real Colegio Complutense at Harvard University, and has participated in several European, national and regional R&D&i projects. Since 2021 she has been president of the Valencian Association of Sociology (AVS), is involved in other research groups such as OBSOEDU and AEdificatio, and collaborates with public administrations on applied sociological studies.

Assistant Professor (Profesor Ayudante Doctor) at the Department of Sociology I of the University of Alicante (UA). He holds a degree in Sociology (2019) and a Master's in Social Innovation and Dynamics of Change (2020) from the same institution, and a PhD in Sociology (UA, 2025), with a thesis on trust in science in Spain during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. He also serves as a Tutor at UNED. He is a member of the GIS-UA – Sociological Research Group and the EDIFICACIÓN – Technology, Research and Development group. His research focuses on the sociology of science and knowledge, social theory, and analytical sociology, with publications on trust in science, artificial intelligence and society, ideological polarisation, and academic productivity in national and international journals.

Gabriel López Martínez is a Permanent Lecturer (Profesor Permanente Laboral) in the Department of Contemporary Humanities at the University of Alicante (UA), affiliated with the University Institute of Tourism Research. He holds a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Murcia (2015), where his doctoral research examined labour cultures in Murcian fishing communities and the self-employed. He has also served as Associate Professor at the University of Murcia and as a Jean Monnet Chair researcher. He is a member of the Observatory of Social Exclusion at the University of Murcia. His research focuses on economic anthropology, platform and digital labour (riders, gig economy), labour informality, sustainable tourism, and social exclusion.

Oana M. Driha is Full Professor (Catedrática de Universidad) in the Department of Applied Economic Analysis at the University of Alicante (UA), affiliated with the University Institute of Tourism Research and the Inter-University Institute of International Economics. She holds a degree in International Economics from the University of Oradea (Romania, 2005), a Master's in Tourism from the University of Alicante (2008), and an International PhD in Economics from the same institution (2011), with a thesis on the internationalisation of Spanish hotel investment abroad. She is a member of the INNATUR research group (Tourism Economics, Natural Resources and New Technologies). Her research focuses on tourism economics, energy economics and renewable energy, climate change, sustainability, and economic growth.

Sociologist and Assistant Professor (Profesor Ayudante Doctor) at the Department of Sociology I, University of Alicante (UA). He holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Alicante and a PhD in Social Anthropology from the Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche (2017), where his doctoral research focused on social movements and the right to housing in Spain. He also holds a Master's in Local Development and Territorial Innovation (UA) and a Master's in New Trends in Anthropology (UMH). He serves as Academic Coordinator of the EMOCS Research Group (Sociology of Emotions, Bodies and Sensibilities) and is a researcher of the CRITERI group (Critical Socioeconomics and Territory). His research interests include social movements, collective action, citizen participation, local development, labour markets, childhood and adolescence, and sociodemographic phenomena.
