INSEAI lanzará un repositorio abierto sobre investigación de la informalidad

Publicada: 09.06.2025

The INSEAI Network is proud to announce the development of an open-access repository dedicated to academic research on informality. This resource will serve as a hub for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers interested in the multidimensional nature of informal activity.

The repository is organized around several core themes that reflect the network’s research focus:

Thematic Areas:

  1. Theoretical context on informal activity: conceptual foundations and sustainable growth models
  2. Empirical background: databases and surveys on informal economies
  3. Economic, juridical, and political frameworks, including the role of culture
  4. Informality and migration
  5. Gender, homework, and care work in the informal sector
  6. Methodology: quantitative and qualitative methods; algorithms and digital resources (including blogs, apps, and databases)
  7. Innovation and governance: management of new goals, algorithms, and applications
  8. Public policies tackling informality

All content is filtered through a set of tailored Scopus search queries designed specifically for each topic area. This ensures both thematic coherence and academic rigor.

The repository will be available openly on the INSEAI website, making it an invaluable tool for knowledge exchange and future research collaboration.

Stay tuned for the official launch and further updates on how to access and contribute to the platform.
