INSEAI formalises new cooperation agreements with UAM’s Master in Economic Development and Public Policies and Universidad Nacional de La Matanza

INSEAI has taken a new step in consolidating its international research network by formalising institutional collaboration agreements with the Master’s Degree in Economic Development and Public Policies (MDEyPP) at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and with the Universidad Nacional de La Matanza (Argentina).

In the case of MDEyPP, the agreement signed between the INSEAI coordination and the Departments of Economic Structure and Economic Development, and of Economics and Public Finance at UAM establishes a non‑financial, academic collaboration framework. It is designed to promote teaching and advanced training activities, the organisation of seminars and workshops, and the dissemination of research results on informality, development and public policies. This framework will help to better connect the INSEAI project with the master’s programme, strengthening the link between frontier research and postgraduate training.

Complementing this, the agreement with the Universidad Nacional de La Matanza reinforces the Euro–Latin American dimension of the network by expanding cooperation with Argentine institutions in the comparative analysis of labour markets, informality and labour‑market inclusion policies. Through this collaboration, the parties aim to foster academic exchange, joint participation in scientific activities and mutual support in knowledge dissemination and transfer, in line with the core objectives of the INSEAI project.

Both agreements are strictly institutional and academic in nature and do not entail financial commitments or beneficiary status within the project for the collaborating entities. They do, however, provide a stable framework for the development of joint activities, the identification of future cooperation opportunities and the strengthening of an international network dedicated to the study of informality and policies for its formalisation in the European Union and Latin America.
