The Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) hosted professors Empar Aguado i Bloise and Josep V. Pitxer from Universitat de València (UV) during their March-April secondment, advancing INSEAI's comparative analysis of labor informality.
The academic stay fostered in-depth exchanges on Ibero-American labor markets, focusing on unemployment, precariousness, segmentation, and employment policies between Spain and Argentina.
March 25, 2026: "Barriers and resistances to formalization in domestic and care employment in Spain" (Empar Aguado and Josep V. Pitxer, UV).

April 9, 2026: "Employment policies and labor reforms in Spain and Argentina" (Josep V. Pitxer, UV; Agustín Salvia, UBA-CONICET/ODSA-UCA).

Coordinated by Agustín Salvia and Ianina Tuñón (UCA), these activities enriched collective knowledge production on transregional labor challenges. The encounter strengthens UV-UCA institutional ties, advancing INSEAI's formalization objectives.
