Professor Raúl Lorente Advances INSEAI Objectives During Mexico Secondment

Prof. Raúl Lorente Campos, Chair in Sociology at Universitat de València and specialist in labor precarity, is conducting a two-month secondment at Instituto Belisario Domínguez, contributing to INSEAI's comparative analysis of socioeconomic informality between EU and Latin America (WP1-WP3).

  • April 21: Roundtable with Maestro Emilio Barriga (Sala Felipe Sánchez Román), exploring formalization policies.

  • April 22: Internal seminar "Let's Talk Economic Growth and Employment" with Institute researchers.

  • April 28: Seminar at Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas.

Alignment with INSEAI

These interventions advance multidimensional informality detection and EU-LATAM policy evaluation, exchanging data on labor market segmentation focused on quality employment (SDG 8). Lorente's expertise in underemployment enriches the project's intersectoral networks.
