On March 11, 2026, the INSEAI 2023 project consortium gathered for its second general assembly, the Mid-Term Meeting, hosted both in-person at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and online.
Key Outcomes and Discussions
Representatives from beneficiary organizations reviewed project progress, upcoming activities, and approved the 2026 budget alongside the catalogue of secondments and ad hoc activities planned for 2026. The meeting emphasized strategic planning to ensure alignment with INSEAI's goals on comparative socio-economic analysis of informality.
New Collaboration Opportunities
The consortium greenlit partnership agreements with additional academic and non-academic entities for joint teaching, training, networking, research, and related initiatives. These collaborations will not involve European Research Executive Agency resources or secondments for external partners, maintaining project funding integrity while expanding impact.
It also approved an Addendum to the Consortium Agreement, which increases the compensation for transatlantic travel to €1000.
This milestone reinforces INSEAI's commitment to fostering knowledge exchange on labor informality across Europe and Latin America. More updates on collaborations and activities coming soon via www.inseai.eu.
