INSEAI DISCUSSION – Seminar: Informal work and its analogies: keys to characterising social structure

On 3 October, the University of Alicante hosted the seminar ‘Informal work and its analogies: keys to characterising social structure’, organised by the INSEAI Network.   

Researchers from Europe and Latin America gathered to reflect on informality, its impact on poverty and social structure, and the challenges of innovation and policy responses.   

The event was moderated by Raúl Lorente, from the University of Valencia (UV), and featured the participation of: Víctor Climent and Oana Driha, from the Institute of International Economics, University of Alicante (UA); Luiza Dantas, from the Federal University of Campina Grande (Brazil); Agustín Salvia, from the University of Buenos Aires and the Social Debt Observatory-UCA (UBATEC and ODSA-UCA, Argentina); and Santos M. Ruesga, from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and Coordinator of the INSEAI Network.  

Empar Aguado (UV), Ianina Tuñón (ODSA-UCA, UNLAM, Argentina), Jorge Seva (UA), Javier Ortega (UA) and Gabriel López (UA) also participated in the colloquium. 

This academic meeting was organised by the INSEAI team at the University of Alicante (UA), coordinated by Víctor Climent.
