INSEAI Repositorio (ARKI), open to informality research

The INSEAI Network announces the launch of an open-access REPOSITORY to support academic research on the multifaceted phenomenon of informality.

This resource serves as a meeting point for academics, technicians, and policymakers interested in the multidimensional nature of informal activities.

The ARKI REPOSITORY is organized around several thematic areas that reflect the INSEAI Network's areas of interest.

Thematic Areas:

  1. Theoretical context on informal activity: conceptual foundations and sustainable growth models
  2. Empirical background: databases and surveys on informal economies
  3. Economic, juridical, and political frameworks, including the role of culture
  4. Informality and migration
  5. Gender, homework, and care work in the informal sector
  6. Methodology: quantitative and qualitative methods; algorithms and digital resources (including blogs, apps, and databases)
  7. Innovation and governance: management of new goals, algorithms, and applications
  8. Public policies tackling informality
