Full Professor of Economic Analysis, Department of Economics, University of A Coruña. Member of the inter-university research group ECOBAS and director of the University Institute of Maritime Studies, coordinator of the Research Group on Economic Development and Social Sustainability (EDaSS) (UDC) and collaborator of the SET-LASE research group on socio-economics of labour, at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). Her research is focused in socio-economics, technology and sustainability, labour market, ICT and gender. She also works in the field of maritime studies. She has numerous scientific publications in international journals indexed in WoS and SJR, as well as contributions in books and book chapters in the most prestigious international publishers. Visiting researcher at the Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri (USA), University of Oxford (UK), among others. She has received several international research awards. She has participated in national and international research projects. Currently Principal Researcher for the UDC of the European INSEAI project on informality in the labour market. Previously, she has worked in the private company UNION ELECTRICA FENOSA (currently NATURGY).
