Ph.D. in Sociology from Columbia University in New York. She is currently the Director of the Institute for Socio-Economic Research (IISEC) at the Bolivian Catholic University “San Pablo.” She is an active member of academic networks and platforms such as Southern Voice, CLACSO, and the Research Network for Social Enterprise, among others. She has served as a consultant for international organizations including the ILO, UNDP, UNICEF, and the World Bank. Her research focuses on inclusive and sustainable development, feminist economics, care economy, social and solidarity economy, labor markets, and social inequalities. She has published books, book chapters, academic articles, and working papers on these topics.
