Ph.D. in Economics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), a master's degree in Economic Development and Public Policy from the same institution, a master's in data science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, and a degree in Economics from the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia. He is a consultant and researcher specializing in labor issues, particularly in the informal sector and the socioeconomic reintegration of vulnerable populations. He has experience in university teaching, research, and consultancy in the fields of macroeconomics, microeconomics, econometrics, and data analytics. He has carried out various projects in socioeconomic development, public policy design with an emphasis on impact evaluation, and social projects. His research has supported institutions such as the Ministry of Labor, the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI), and the Regional Labor Market Observatory (ORMET) in Colombia. He has also worked as a consultant for international organizations including the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the International Labour Organization (ILO). He is currently Director of Research at DESH Consultores and a full-time faculty member at the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia. Additionally, he serves as coordinator of the INSEAI project at DESH Consultores.
