She has a bachelor's degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1993), a master's degree in Industrial and Technology Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1997), and a doctorate in Economics from the Department of Economics at PUC-Rio (2006), with a 12-month doctoral internship at the École des Hautes Études de Sciences Sociales (EHESS-Paris). She has experience in the field of Economics, with an emphasis on Applied Economics, working mainly on the following topics: labor market, informal economy, education, social welfare, and urban mobility. She is affiliated with the Center for Studies on Inequality and Development (CEDE) and to the Society of Family and Gender Economics (GEFAM).

Professor in the Department of Economics at the Federal Fluminense University (UFF) and a collaborating researcher at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD in Industrial and Technology Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

His academic work focuses on industrial and technology economics, with an emphasis on industrial organisation, sectoral studies, innovation economics and industrial and technology policy. His research interests include local productive arrangements and systems, industrial clusters, inter-firm cooperation, firm networks and sectoral and regional systems of innovation, as well as the analysis of scientific and technological capabilities in sectors such as health.

He has supervised numerous master’s and doctoral theses, coordinated research projects and carried out consultancy activities for national and international funding agencies on productive development, innovation and industrial policies. He is a member of the INSEAI network through the Federal Fluminense University and collaborates with groups such as RedeSist in the study of productive and innovation systems in developing countries.

Professor at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF), Faculty of Economics, where he also serves as Coordinator of the Undergraduate Programme in Economics. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires (2001) and a Master’s and PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IPPUR/UFRJ).

His research focuses on the political economy of territory, solidarity economy, social movements and the relationships between the state, social organisations and urban peripheries. He has worked on the conceptual foundations of solidarity economy, dynamics of domination and resistance in urban territories and the links between public policies, institutional activists and social organisations, with a particular emphasis on Latin American contexts.

Full Professor of Economics at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF), where she is involved in teaching, research and project coordination within the Economics programme. She holds undergraduate and doctoral degrees in Economics (obtained in Spain) and has developed her academic career between Spanish and Brazilian universities, coordinating joint research projects between UFF and institutions such as the Autonomous University of Madrid.

Her research focuses on industrial and innovation economics, technological specialisation and convergence, with a particular emphasis on Latin America and the role of multinational enterprises in development and structural change. She has published articles, book chapters and working papers on productive specialisation, multinational firms, innovation and development, and is an active participant in international research networks in applied economics.

She coordinates and collaborates on research projects dealing with productive structure, innovation and development policies in Latin America, and takes part in interdisciplinary teams that analyse recent economic transformations and their social and territorial implications.
