Level C Researcher at the Belisario Domínguez Institute of the Senate of the Republic, Mexico, since 2013. He holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Applied Economics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He specializes in labor market and social security issues. His publications include the coordination of two books: Informality: Legislative Implications and Public Policies to Reduce It (2017) and The Current Situation and Reform of Social Security in Mexico (2015), as well as contributions on employment and social security policies to the Mexico Development Report published by the University Program for Development Studies at UNAM.
