Meriem El Yamri is the CEO and Founder of Crowtec, a Madrid-based technology studio that builds innovative systems at the intersection of the physical and digital worlds. Under her leadership, Crowtec specializes in developing cutting-edge software solutions using technologies such as Extended Reality (XR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The studio works across a wide range of sectors, creating immersive and intelligent experiences that push the boundaries of interaction and perception.

Master’s degree in Software Engineering and is currently completing her PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, with a focus on the use of XR and AI to enhance public speaking and communication. Her research explores how emotionally responsive technologies can improve performance and engagement in immersive environments.

Beyond her technical work, Meriem is actively engaged in various initiatives that promote STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), particularly those aimed at closing the gender gap in tech. She is a strong advocate for inclusive innovation and believes in the transformative power of technology when guided by empathy and creativity.

Through Crowtec and her academic work, Meriem continues to explore how emerging technologies can enrich human experience, bridge virtual and real environments, and create meaningful impact.
